Talk about *road rash*!!!!!!

I had a close encounter with some asphalt while rollerblading on a road that got steeper than I anticipated.

Aug10, 2004 -- Shortly after the accident. I managed to wash out most of the asphalt.

 

Aug 11, 2004 -- I learned about the advantages of non-stick gauze through this incident.
The nurse ripped out this gauze a day or two later. Yowwwwwww-ieeeeeeee!

 

Aug 17, 2004 -- Finally I'm starting to heal up!
