Cross a Stream
The trail crossed at stream at one point.
The people, more than the mules were anxious to have a drink. When we
first arrived at the stream on the hike to the cave, two hawks were
fighting over a rat one of them had caught. They dropped the barely
living rodent next to the stream and refused to reclaim it with us
humans so close. We used a rock to put the rat out of it's misery,
then continued on our way. On the return hike we noticed that the
dead rat was gone.
