Deeply Cut Trail in the
Grass
Here's another shot of a badly eroded trail.
Ryan is looking back at his father, Dave, who was taking this
picture. Note the black pelican case sitting on the ground in the
lower left of the photo. The mule drivers wouldn't tie it on the
animals, and it couldn't be worn on a human's back, so it was carried
by hand by it's owner, Keith, or whomever he could coerce into
carrying it. It really built up forearm muscles (while simultaneously
wearing out their shoulders!).
