My second and third rides in the Tucson were at this new jewel of a riding area here. My friend Pete and I showed up around 10 am Sunday. He's mentioned it to his friend, Brett, who, without knowing specifics, arrived moments before us. The 3 of us had a fantastic ride. We started at the southern parking area. The single track twists and turns so amazinging, that you'd never know how straight a line you were actually riding! The two very linear sections of the route are doubletrack. Brett and I met again at 6:30 pm for a night ride. It was wonderful swooping around and between the cacti! I didn't duck soon enough at one point, and a cholla "jumped" out and attached itself to my shoulder. Good thing he was handy and could pull it out for me.
