The moderate-paced Hoyles Mill group joined up with the casual-paced group for a short bit. The faster group was
plagued with "mechanicals." Two flat tires, a broken spoke, and that was just the start. Here the riders pedal
pavement for a short bit on White Ground Road through Boyds where the Hoyles Mill trail isn't finished. This shot
shows about half the giant moderate-paced group.
