Picasso Slab from Brazil

This is such cool stuff! A conglomerate that's so beautiful. My favorite is the Picasso Verde. And as I create this webpage, I think the reason is that the epidote reminds me a lot of a thin section of glauconite!!!!!!!! I did my best to adjust the color to reality.

I think they did a strange thing because the longer length of the slab, is the shorter length of the clasts. I would have quarried it at right angles.

Also, the scale of the pictures is about 0.5 meters.

Volga Blue - this is super neat. The picture doesn't do it justice. It's a very dark gabbro with zoned brilliant blue plagioclase which are up to 6 cm across.
